Start with the outing you want

For an evening rooftop with a designed mocktail list, start with Cane & Barrel. For a restaurant meal with named mocktails, compare The Hangar. During the day, Blush emphasizes tea, Bandit offers a café and kitchen, and Pure Green and Karma give you juice and smoothie options. “Alcohol-free” covers several very different visits.

A café morning: tea or espresso?

Blush’s range of tea families makes it a useful place to begin if tea is the main interest. Bandit is a Grand Central alternative for coffee, tea, and food, with indoor and outdoor seating. These are not interchangeable locations: Blush is on the MLK Street corridor, while Bandit is on Central Avenue. Choose the neighborhood as well as the drink.

A juice break: EDGE or 4th Street?

Pure Green is at 1041 Central Avenue in the EDGE District. Karma’s current St. Pete address is 1804 4th Street North, Unit 2. Both give you smoothie and bowl choices, while Karma also lists café food. Use the ingredient list and the format of the order to decide whether you want a drink, a snack, or something to eat.

A rooftop evening: Cane & Barrel

The drinks menu has a dedicated mocktail section rather than leaving you to improvise from mixers. La Colada uses a non-alcoholic rum alternative; Jeva Tropical uses a non-alcoholic gin alternative. Ask what is available that evening and describe the flavor you prefer. A tropical-style drink and a spirit-led substitute can feel like different orders even within the same section.

Dinner with choices: The Hangar

The Hangar’s published mocktails include strawberry-basil Nojito, blueberry-lemonade Blue Sky, pineapple-and-coconut Sunshine Pina Colada, and cucumber-mint Kick in the Glass. Other guests can choose from the regular wine and cocktail list. Specify the mocktail when ordering Blue Sky, since Blue Skies Mule is a different alcoholic drink.

Make your requirements specific

If you require 0.0% alcohol, ask about the exact finished recipe, including the spirit alternative and bitters. If you also want to avoid other intoxicating ingredients, say that explicitly. These questions are about getting the drink you intend; a category heading cannot answer every ingredient question. The venue is the source for its current recipe.
